Impact of Your Donations

Alternative School

  • The grade point average for students after enrollment for a period of time was 2.9 on a 4.0 scale. Prior to attending the Alternative School, the average for those same students was .66 on a 4.0 scale. The average grade point  increase was 2.24 points.

Girl Scouts

  • 70% of girls measured reported growth in their self-confidence, and 69% of girls exhibited indications that they had developed the ability to make sound decisions.

Gateway Youth

  • 94.5% of the at-risk youth did not become involved or re-involved with the juvenile justice system while enrolled in the program. Typically, the projected outcome for an at-risk program is 70%.

Rehabilitation Center for Neurological Development

  • 95% of the clients enrolled demonstrated at least some improvement in areas such as strength, coordination, movement, and function.

American Red Cross

  • 82% of Armed Forces Emergency Services’ clients were assisted within two hours of initial contact.. Also, American Red Cross responded to 96% of disasters within two hours of being notified.

Consumer Credit Counseling

  • Of clients entering the debt management program, 90% said they were able to identify and thus avoid bad spending habits; 87% said their financial situation improved following counseling; and 90% said they feel they have gained control over their finances.

Catholic Social Services

  • 90% of the clients developed a plan for change and committed to goals by the end of their fifth counseling session.
